Perhaps the strongest part of the game is its multiplayer mode, which supports up to four players via link cable. In this mode, players compete to collect the most coins while slowing the opposition with goo darts. p The single-player game incorporates basic platform elements. Players spend most of the time running, jumping, and collecting objects. It's hardly innovative, but it works for a younger audience. The four racing levels also add some variety. Extremely young gamers may need an adult handy to deal with the game's heavy text and poor save system; the latter uses long passwords to track a player's progress. All in all, this is a good game for fans of the series. It features strong graphics and plenty of the film's flavor. Adept players will breeze through the single-player game, although the multiplayer mode provides a fair amount of replay value. I--Raymond M. The controls are simple, although strafing with the shoulder button takes some getting used to. Gameplay consists entirely of shooting enemies, finding objects, and unlocking doors. It's a wonderfully simple formula that will appeal to gamers of all ages. p It's far from a perfect game, though. The graphics pale in comparison to other Game Boy Advance launch titles--the early levels look particularly dull. The developers opted for assigning passwords after each level rather than letting players save their progress on the cartridge. The collision detection can be irksome--you'll swear that you've hit an enemy, only to watch him continue assaulting you.
